In order to make the £500 CASH GIFT available to all eligible children in the 23 Children’s Cancer Specialist Hospitals in the UK we need to raise at least £300,000 per year. Josie’s Dragonfly trust is a voluntary non profit making organisation.
We cannot meet this target by selling Dragonfly’s alone and so we rely heavily on Donations to meet this target.
In our first year we raised over 166,000 pounds and subsequently we took on 7 hospitals for the Cash Gift.
We now need 140,000 pounds a year to support these 7 hospitals before we can take on more.
Between April 2008 and October 2008 we have had 17,000 pounds in Donations for which we are extreemly gratefull, but sadly we need much, much more! Please help if you can.

Under the Inland Revenue’s New Gift Aid scheme, we are able to reclaim the tax made on gifts by UK taxpayers. To find out more please click on this link.
By applying for gift aid your donation can be worth nearly a third more - at no extra cost to you. Once you have given us permission on you behalf we will do the rest. It can cover more than one donation and can be cancelled at any time.

a) Donate On Line
The simplest way to donate online is through Just Giving, click here to go direct to the site.
b) Send a donation cheque
Please make your cheque payable to: Josie’s Dragonfly Trust and send to: Josie’s Dragonfly Trust, 17B Halstile bank, Hexham, Northumberland, NE46 3PG.
c) Regular Giving
A monthly pledge or a regular gift to the charity means we will be safe in the knowledge that we have the funding there to rely on. A monthly gift of £5 can be easily set up by direct debit and would help enormously. For every 9 people donating £5 a month we know that we can make a difference to the last days or weeks of a child and give precious, lasting memories to their families. Please contact us for more information.
d) Payroll Giving
If you wish to help on a regular basis Payroll Giving may be ideal for you. It allows you to donate by a direct deduction from your salary. This is a very tax effective method of giving as the charity receives your donation and the tax you would have paid on this amount is added on by the government.
