I would like to thank the many thoughtful people who have taken the time to write to me. Everyone has been so kind and I had so many offers of special days and things to make Christmas special. We had a cook for Christmas day which was nice for my mum as she could spend all the time with us and we had a snow machine lent to us so that it felt even more christmassy.

I have had about 200 cards that are all over the house. The messages have been very personal and touching. Some have been trying to help me with nutritional advice, others have been sharing experiences or telling me about people that they have lost and nearly everyone has said that they are praying for me and my family and sending lots of love. It was a really nice feeling that so many people were thinking of me at Christmas and it also feels good that I have seem to have helped others.

I want to thank everyone at the hospital because it must be very hard for the Doctors and Nurses too because you really get to know them like friends and then it is tough for them when they cant fix you. They are so kind and always try to be happy and positive and try to make it fun when you are there.

I also want to thank the blood donors and bone marrow donors. There are kids on the ward and day unit every day having blood and who's lives depend on it. I have needed hundreds of transfusions in the last 2 years. I haven't been able to meet my 2 bone marrow donors yet because you have to wait two years, but I would really love to thank them and tell them not to worry that it didn't work because the extra time they gave me was very special.

I really appreciate that people are helping me raise money. I hope this will help the lives of other children that have the same life threatening disease, Leukemia, and other types of cancer. I hope the fund will help get enough money that one day someone will find a cure.

What I went through was so hard and now when I go to the hospital and see other children having the same treatment and new kids who have just been diagnosed I just want to make a difference.
